It has been observed that in the present, generation knowledge is increasing whereas wisdom Is diminishing.
Every individual has so much extended ones body through ones control over television, computer, Internet & other electronic machines that at times It compels us to think what Is it that has happened to man? Man has become machine & his soul seems to be stagnant. It is not growing correspondingly.
There is disproportion between the growth of wisdom & the increase of knowledge It is said that "Vidya" gives "viveka" and gives a sense of what is right & helps one to avoid what is wrong.
Therefore student's of this generation must try to find out what is required of them.So the purpose which pupil should adopt in their lives not only be adapted to the needs to present situation but should also focus in adopting qualities like compassion, considerateness ,respectfulness, disciplines which no doubt will still great moral strength in us. Without these qualities we will only remain as human animals. "nara-pasu", not more than that.
